The Carre Gallery is currently showing a mixed exhibition of work from a number of Lincolnshire artists displaying work in a variety of media.

Peggy Tacey Prize:

Visitors to Peggy Tacey’s recent exhibition of traditional Japanese embroidery (see below) will remember being given the opportunity to win a stunning example of her work, Californian Poppies.  Peggy kindly sold raffle tickets during her exhibition at the gallery with the draw taking place at the close of her show.

The lucky winner of the artwork was Mrs. Pauline Turnbull whose winning ticket was selected at random at the gallery.

We are lucky on two counts; Peggy’s outstanding work drew a large audience to the gallery and the raffle raised a significant sum for the gallery.  We are extremely grateful to Peggy for her generous gift.
