The competition attracted entries from throughout the county with 45 submissions selected for exhibition at Carre Gallery.

The exhibition was judged by Christopher Hodgson of Sleaford Gallery Arts Trust Ltd, and Stephen Bradford of Junior Sports Programme Trust.  Judging was extremely difficult as a result of the high standard of entries.  A particular surprise was the number and quality of junior entries, several of which were directly competitive with the work of adults.
