Wolds Spring by Tina H Robson

Bainton Room:  From East to West by Tina H Robson:

This exhibition has been inspired by Tina’s walks in the gentle landscape and open coastline of Lincolnshire and contrasting exploration of the landscapes of Pembrokeshire.  Tina has lived in Benniworth, near Horncastle, since the spring of 2008.  She is a qualified artist/tutor with a BA (Hons) in Illustration and a PGCE in Art.  After working for a number of years in Education and Design she made the commitment in 2011 to devote herself full-time to her art.  She now paints from her studio at Top Farm and ‘en plein air’ elsewhere.

Between the Devil and the Deep by Kaye Miller-Dewing

Candlesby Room: An Eclectic Array by Kaye Miller-Dewing

Until recently Kaye worked mainly with watercolour and gouache but is becoming increasingly experimental, alternating between various media including acrylic, oil, enamel and other mixed media along with an emergence of 3D pieces.  Her work has developed from predominantly fine art to include more abstract and impressionistic work, testing colour and effect of different forms of application and approaches.  The combination of one medium with another affords each one a transformation beyond itself alone.  Kaye’s ultimate aim is to create pieces that inspire and bring happiness and optimism.  She presents her subject matter in an alternative form to the norm, in an unusual format or arrangement, from a different angle or perspective.  She always strives to impart a sense of life or movement, depth or emotion in her work imbuing the finished piece with an innate life and ability to continue changing.
