September 4, 2012

A group of amateur artists from U3A (University of the third Age) who meet twice monthly and create work in different media.

Autumn Colours by Angela Fahy

This exhibition displays an interesting mix of different media, subject matter, style and size.  Some members are seasoned artists who have exhibited previously both at the Carre Gallery and beyond.  Visitors are invited to vote for ‘Best in Show’ so come along and have your say.  You might even pick up a very affordable piece for your own walls.

Exhibitors in this exhibition are: Phyllis Allat, Cecily Basey, Mike Benthall, David Butler, Sue Butler, Susan Burrows, Felicity Davies, Angela Fahy, Dreda Farmer, Pamela Hiscock, Chris Heath, Maureen Jackson, Ann Mackenzie, Robin Mackenzie, Linda Martin, Shirley Newman, Stuart Vickers, Lesley Wesley, James Woods, Gillian Wright.

U3A  aims to encourage and enable older people no longer in full-time employment to help each other to share knowledge, skills, interests and experience.  Sleaford U3A is a friendly, relaxed group of like-minded people.  Activities are based in small groups that meet regularly.  Anyone in their third age can join; no qualifications are required to join and no qualifications are given.  More information at www.sleafordu3a.org.uk

Exhibition open 10 am until 4 pm from 03 Sep to 08 Sep 2012
