CLASSIC MOTOR SPORT PHOTOGRAPHS By Michael D Aspinall

A collection of classic motor sport photographs taken by the teenage Michael Aspinall when accompanying his father to motor racing circuits throughout the UK.
Michael Aspinall’s enthusiasm for motor sport continued into adult life with participation in classic saloon and sports car racing. The photographs taken in his youth were stored in a cupboard for over 40 years and rediscovered only recently. They are now being restored for exhibition and sale. These are the very first prints to be released.

Now retired, Michael Aspinall is an active supporter of the Junior Sports Programme and East Midlands representative of English Lacrosse. Proceeds from the sale of these prints will be donated to the Junior Sports Programme.

ENDANGERED SPECIES By Barry Bland

Lincolnshire-born Barry Bland has established an international reputation as an endangered species photographer.
He has been a previous exhibitor at Carre Gallery.
This year’s exhibition is of some of his most popular work which was taken in support of fund-raising for The Rare Species Fund and other organisations.

Proceeds from the sale of these prints will be donated to the Junior Sports Programme.

The exhibition is open 10 am – 4 pm Monday to Saturday from 15 October until 27 October.

Carre Gallery would like to thank The Hodgson Elkington Junior Sports Programme for its generous sponsorship of this exhibition.
