Carre Gallery was set up as a venue to showcase the work of Lincolnshire Artists.  The exhibition space is primarily for two-dimensional art although we have space to exhibit one or two three-dimensional pieces as part of an exhibition.  Both amateurs and professionals are welcome to exhibit providing work is of a recognised high standard and the work is appropriately presented for exhibition.  This means that we usually insist on work being mounted and framed.

Located in Carre Street, Sleaford, the gallery is virtually opposite the Hub National Centre for Craft and Design and is close to car parking facilities.

Carre Gallery is operated by the Sleaford Gallery Arts Trust which is a registered charity.

Providing quality mounts and frames is paramount for professional looking work particularly if placed in a selling exhibition. Textiles and glass look good without mounts and/or on canvas. I believe the finishing and presenting is as important as the making.

    Hi,
how do you apply to have your work shown?
    Thankyou

      Hi Gemma,
Thank you for your question. At the moment we don’t have that information on the blog (but intend to add it). The best way forward is to send an email to info@carregallery.co.uk to request an exhibitor’s pack. If you have a specific question you could phone the gallery office on 01529 415056 and ask to speak to our friendly and helpful Gallery Secretary. You’ll also find some information on the Carre Gallery website. Behind the scenes the website is getting an overhaul so please bear with us.
