Baz East spent his early career in commercial art, then many years in book illustration (Warne’s Observer’s Pocket Books alone contain over 500 of his illustations). This is his third appearance at the Carre Gallery.  Derek Ashman, an experienced art tutor, works mainly in oils. His favourite subjects include aircraft, old buildings, woodland, animals and occasional portraits.  Anthony Pegg is a self taught artist who likes to vary his subjects, painting figurative, landscape and abstract. He has executed commissioned work including dog portraits and murals for children’s bedrooms.

Carolyn Goodwin presents oil Paintings based around a rural environment including paintings inspired by trips to New Zealand.  Glynne James paints the landscapes of the Fens where every feature can become significant, where distant views are plenty.  Helen Webber paints in a variety of media exploring her interest in the agricultural landscapes of South Lincolnshire.
