This year’s invited artist is popular artist Lyn Lovitt who is exhibiting a comprehensive range of her work including ceramic sculptures, drawings, lino cuts and recent paintings.

Having spent several years working in studio potteries in Surrey and London she moved to Lincolnshire where she has constantly been inspired by the landscape of wold and fen with the impressive backdrop of large open skies.

Lyn will be at the gallery and will be pleased to welcome all visitors and talk about her work.

Exhibition Opening:

Mon 02 March until Sat 14 March every day except Sundays: 10 am – 4.30 pm.

Jana Siebers paintings with Lyn Lovitt ceramic

Acclaimed Lincolnshire artists, Lyn Lovitt and Jana Siebers, delight visitors with their new show presenting major pieces of work, paintings, prints and ceramic sculpture together with smaller pieces and handmade collage cards.

Jana, who won Best in Show at the Carre’s 2010 Summer Exhibition, displays a range of oil paintings on canvas, together with drawings and works on paper including landscape, heads and sketches from life.

Lyn won the Willoughby Memorial Gallery Open competition in November with her dramatic ceramic sculpted head and she has recently exhibited successfully at the Sam Scorer Gallery, Lincoln. A selected Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, her work is regularly sold in galleries throughout the UK. Her sculptural work is individually hand built using a blend of clays. Lyn will also be showing several   lino cut prints in her own definitive style.

The exhibition is open from 10 am until 6 pm every day, including Sunday, from Mon 22 Nov to Sat 04 Dec.
