Windham Hime Memorial Exhibition 2021

Ian has been a regular exhibitor at the Carre Gallery since it opened in 2009 as a solo exhibitor, joint exhibitor and contributor to many ‘mixed’ and ‘themed’ shows.

“I’ve had no formal training in art apart from school and the benefit of holidaying each year with an uncle who was an artist. I was allowed to run riot in his studio from the age of 5yrs and he taught me how to mix colours and look at things – “Look, observe, draw” was his advice; sound advice!”

“I was also fortunate that he would often take me out with him on his painting trips on the South Downs or along the River Arun near Arundel Castle.”

For the Windham Hime Memorial Exhibition this year Ian presents us with a retrospective. All pieces have been selected from work carried out between 2005 and 2020 and show a variety of media and subjects.

Exhibition runs from Monday 06 September until Saturday 18 September.

Open 10 am – 4 pm every day except Sunday.
