Different Strokes for Different Folks – Debbie Davidge

October 4, 2021

Debbie is a self-taught Artist, of only a few years. She has always had an interest in art and it wasn’t until her retirement that she developed a passion for it and she now paints almost daily. She is on her last assignment for a Diploma with the London College of Art in Drawing and Painting and enjoys the mediums of Acrylic, Watercolour, Acrylic Inks and Pen and wash.

Debbie has had a number of her artworks published in art magazines over the last eighteen months. She has just recently finished a month solo art exhibition in Caistor and has a planned exhibition in early November at the Gallery at St Martins, Lincoln. She also has window displays in a framing shop in Lincoln.

She has some of her greeting cards and notelets at the gift Shop in Mrs Smith’s Cottage Museum in Navenby.

Debbie states, “As human beings we are all different in all aspects of life; hence the title of the exhibition. This is what makes every one of us unique and I like to feel that my paintings are somewhat eclectic and of a simple style – something for everyone.” Her style is always evolving to another level – so keep an eye out!

Debbie’s inspiration come from local surroundings, holidays, and a love of flowers in various gardens, parks and National Trust gardens too.
